Distinguished chief guest Dr. Fazal Gafoor Sir, dignitaries, special invitees, parents, teachers and my dear students! good evening one and all. I’m really honored to present the annual report of the academic year 2024-25 in a snapshot.

Fathima Rahim Central School is on the threshold of concluding  another successful academic year filled with achievements growth and a commitment to academic excellence.

Excellence in Education and to equip our students to be able to live a trail of brilliance is the whole mark of our school.

I start with the star performers in the AISSC 2023-24 academic year CBSEexamination.

Abdul Basith  A M top- scored with  94.6% and following close behind were  Hadhin Muhammed A P with 93.8%, Aafrin Fathima  with 92% and Rena Athufa  with 91% respectively.

As always the school secured 100%result while a total of 10 students secured distinction. Our heart felt congratulation to all the 19 students.

In April and May 2024 teacher’s professional development work shops were conducted to improve teacher’s skill and abilities to deliver their duties more effectively.

Parent orientation programmes were organized in June 2024 to acquaint the parents with the curriculum, methodology and the evaluation pattern of various segments.

To ensure that we are well quipped with the 21st century skills and knowledge to face any challenge we conducted sessions that focus on diverse topics like adolescent life skills, POCSO committee, Grievance redressal  cell, career planning, leadership skills, regular counselling and special counselling to the needy students and parents.

MES Fathima Rahim Central School, was initially established under “Crescent Educational Charitable Society”  in the year 2001, which later got affiliated to MES. Our school got Recognition and Affiliated to CBSE New Delhi and our first batch of students successfully completed All India Secondary School Examination in 2013. The school had a very humble beginning but a great leadership under K.M.D. Muhammed. Now when we are celebrating the Silver Jubilee we salute  the entire MES leadership for providing the best education to all communities in this region.

Currently, we have a student’s strength of 739. [363 boys, and 376 girls.] There are 42 efficient and qualified teachers to guide and mentor our students and that makes a student teacher ratio of 17.5:1/ where CBSE requirement is 30:1.  We are the pioneers in Montessori Education and we continue Montessori Primary Education up to Grade 3. We are 100% secular and it’s a school that welcomes students and teachers of all communities.

The school follows CBSE curriculum and we have classes from 1st to 10th.    The school is equipped with a computer lab an excellent playground and a very beautiful atmosphere of cool and calm surroundings. We have achieved awards for Malayala Manorama Nallapadam, Mathrubhoomi Seed, OISCA International, National Green Corpse, and  Forestry Club activities.

Academics

Academics are the core focus of our school and we have always been 100% in CBSE class 10 board examination. All the possible efforts have been taken to ensure academic excellence in our school. The best progress our students made this year is in Reading English, Malayalam and Hindi. More than 100 students have become excellent News Readers. Students from 1st grade are practicing in every day reading, writing and public speaking. We have introduced Robotic Studies in collaboration with Digital Bridge International,  Markaz Knowledge City.

Assessment System

The system of result analysis is rigorous at our school. We conduct 2 PT examinations and 2 term examinations. We conduct regular parent teacher meeting of all grades to have an interface communication between teachers, students and parents for analyzing result.

Mandatory MES education board assessment was conducted in the school on 16th August 2024 with a view to monitor the lesson delivery of all subject teachers and to assess the progress of individual children. This assessment will help us to ensure high quality academics in our school.

The school conducted the parliamentary election and Investiture ceremony on 18th July. Ms. Fathima Liya sworn in as the school leader and along with her the  ministers and house captains were inducted by Dr. Anju N Pillai, the Principal of Markaz Knowledge City Law College.

The Preprimary and Primary Montessori wing namely Acquilegia, Blasing Stars, Coral Bells, desert Rose, Erica, Annatto, Bilberry, Clementine and LichyLichy is a vibrant nurturing space specifically for the young blooming buds. The environment is carefully crafted with all the materials to foster holistic development stimulating their imagination, creativity and social skills. The Montessori wing provides a safe, joyful and interactive space where our little ones take their first step towards academic and personal growth. Events like Letters day, yellow day, fruit and vegetable day, food day and animal day are attractions of their calendar.

Through out the academic year our school has been dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive learning environment. Our school takes pride in celebrating the rich variety of cultural diversity through various festival celebrations like Eid, Onam, and Christmas.
