National-Level Pride for Kaithapoyil MES Fathima Rahim Central School Hiba Lulu Wins First Place in Poster Making at the National World Ozone Day Celebrations

Kaithapoyil: MES Fathima Rahim Central School, Kaithapoyil, has achieved a prestigious national-level accolade in the field of environmental conservation. Hiba Lulu, a student at the school, secured first place in the 32nd National World Ozone Day Poster Making Competition organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. The winners were officially announced during the 32nd World Ozone Day national celebration held in Mumbai on September 16, 2026.

This year’s World Ozone Day was observed under the theme “Global Action for a Cooler Planet.” The event was presided over by Shri Kirtivardhan Singh, Union Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change. Smt. Pankaja Munde, Minister for Environment and Climate Change, State of Maharashtra, attended as the chief guest. Key topics discussed included environmental conservation, the protection of the ozone layer, and collective action to combat climate change. Winners of the national-level poster-making and slogan-writing competitions for school students, as well as the winners of the national online quiz competition, were announced during the ceremony. The competitions were organized to encourage creativity and awareness among students on topics such as ozone layer protection, environmental awareness, and climate-friendly lifestyles.

A major milestone in the school’s history was reached at this national platform when Hiba Lulu’s first-place-winning poster was officially released.
